I listened to my doctor and started to exercise by walking twice per week. To enhance the experience I asked my local friends to join in and we started the Rise & Shine walking club. To keep everyone motivated and on pace I got a drum and tap on it during the walk. We have a few laughs and get to stretch and try to keep a task pleasant.
Why do we think its a task? Its suppose to feel good and invigorating . Many days I have very few people joining me. My friends and neighbors use every excuse to not join in. It’s too cold, too hot, I’m too busy etc. Why do we find it so difficult to stay interested in doing something that improves our health? Its time to get on our feet and stop making excuses. It does not matter what your age is start now!
